Abstract

This invention relates to a method of forming a cutting-pattern outline on a knitted nap fabric during knitting and to a nap fabric web so produced. The present invention provides a method of forming a cutting-pattern outline 4 on a knitted nap fabric web 1 of the type having a pattern-forming nap 3 knitted-in over a basic knitted fabric 2 by forming nap-free areas or other areas which contrast with the pattern- forming nap 3. The object is to produce a fabric which can be cut out from the back or nap-free surface. It is intended to produce pieces for making toy animals or garments. <IMAGE>
