Abstract
In certain types of optical disc player, for example video disc players, the position of an optical or opto- electronic component 1, such as a lens or a plate provided with a number of light-sensitive semiconductor diodes, is required be adjusted relative to a frame 2 in two directions of adjustment, X and Y, which are perpendicular to each other. The adjusting device provided by the invention comprises two interconnected leaf springs 4 and 9. One spring 4 is connected at 12 to the frame 2 and the other spring 9 is connected at 13 to the component 1. Movement of component 1 in the X and Y directions is provided by screws 14, 15 which bend the springs 4 and 9 respectively. <IMAGE>
