Abstract

A machine for distributing granular or particulate material, has a blower (8), an air chamber (10) connected thereto and a storage container (2) through outlet openings of which the material is fed via a metering device (5) to a plurality of pipe lines (12, 13, 14, 15) which are connected to the air chamber, which extend laterally with different lengths, and at the ends of which, located at mutual spacings transversely to an in use travelling direction of the machine, outflow openings (17) are provided. The magnitude of the air guidance for the conveyance of the particles of the material from the air chamber (10) to the outflow openings (17) is adjusted at least in groups to the lengths of the individual pipe lines. This can be achieved by either adjusting the cross-sections of the pipe lines to the different lengths thereof, or by connecting additional air conduits (20) between at least one of the pipe lines and the air chamber (10). <IMAGE>
