Abstract
A luminaire comprises a socket (3) and an LED tube lamp (1) received therein. The LED tube lamp (1) is rotatable in the socket (3) between a first angular position in which the tube lamp illuminates in a first direction, and a second angular position in which the tube lamp illuminates in a second direction. A luminaire may have two LED tube lamps (1) received therein, wherein the two LED tube lamps (1) are located adjacent to one another and on opposing sides of the luminaire, and wherein the tube lamps (1) are rotatable between a first configuration in which the tube lamps illuminate in the same direction, and a rotated configuration in which the LED tube lamps are rotated in opposing directions from the first configuration thereby increasing the area illuminated.
