Abstract

The invention provides a baffle 10 disposed in a heating tank 1 for liquids so as to intercept and disperse an incoming stream of relatively cold liquid from inlet 5. This provision inhibits corrosion of the tank, and is suitable in particular for application in water heating tanks having a heating element 8 and forming part of central heating installations. <IMAGE>
