Abstract

A pigmented resinous solvent- based composition also including a cellulose ester such as cellulose acetate butyrate is applied to a metal substrate and allowed to dry at room temperature; a powdered thermosetting clear acrylic, polyester or epoxy resin and cross-linking agent therefor are electrostatically applied and cured by heating.
