Abstract

A corner glued pop-up transit box blank for transit of consumer goods over a postal or courier network, the blank comprising: a base portion 102 and a plurality of box sidewall portions104a-d foldably connected to the base portion 102, wherein at least one of the plurality of box sidewall portions 104 is folded onto the base portion 102 and comprises a linking member 106 , a portion 108 of the linking member 106 being glued to an adjacent box sidewall portion 104a, wherein outward rotation of the at least one box sidewall portion 104b about its foldable connection to the base portion causes inward rotation of the adjacent box sidewall 104a portion about its foldable connection with the base portion 102, and wherein the linking member 106 comprising a cutaway 118 at a vertex between the base portion 102, the at least one sidewall portion 104b and the adjacent sidewall portion 104a. The box may include a lid portion 130 having lid sidewall portions 132, 134 linked by linking portions 138 in a similar manner to the base.
