Abstract

A letter flap assembly comprises a frame 6B and a flap 8B. The flap may be connected to a pair of end caps 9B, with the end caps each being connected to the frame by inter-engagable formations. The flap is preferably biased in the closed position by one or more elastomeric torsion rods or the like members 11B, 12B. The torsion rods may have non-uniform cross sections and may be fabricated from acetal homopolymer resin. The flap and end caps may be adapted so as to be connectable to one another without the use of fasteners and capable of being repeatedly assembled and disassembled
