Abstract

An inflatable device (1) used for removing a wrinkle from a fabric or clothing. The device (1) comprising at least one flexible membrane compartment (shown as multiple compartments, 11, 12), wherein the compartment is inflatable to take a shape so as to tension the fabric. The device and fabric maybe heated or subjected to steam. The device is suitable for use at 100 degrees Celsius. The tensioning of the fabric and application of heat or steam removes wrinkles from the fabric. The heating may be performed by either directly heating the device or by entering the device and clothing into a heated environment. Optionally, the device may be suitable for use at 180 degrees Celsius. A method of use is also claimed.
