Abstract

In a thermal switch of the kind in which, in the closed position, a contact 500 establishes a circuit path between two terminals 11, 12 and, in response to collapse due to temperature rise of a normally solid fusible pellet 16, the contact 500 changes its position to open the switch and break the circuit, the fusible pellet 16 incorporates a ferrite material in order to prevent premature softening of the pellet 16 whereby a precise temperature of operation of the switch is achieved. <IMAGE>
