Abstract

An anchor bolt fastening device 10 comprises an elongate portion B with at least one longitudinally extending, open channel 12 provided in its periphery. An externally screwthreaded, elongate portion G is longitudinally contiguous with the first portion B. In use, the portion B is securable in a hole 11, drilled in a member V in which the device is to be fixed, by a hardenable bonding material injected through the channel 12 which with the adjacent wall 11a of the hole 11 defines a substantially closed duct for the bonding material. Alternatively the portion B may be of polygonal or oval in cross- section, both solid and hollow, Figs. 2b, 3b, with an apertured 16, 19 end disk (15) sealing the bolt to the mouth of the hole 11. In use, the duct for the bonding material is defined by at least one side wall of the portion B and the adjacent wall of the hole. <IMAGE>
