Abstract

The present invention concerns paints which may be used for road markings but which can be readily removed. Such a paint would be useful for putting temporary markings on roads. Accordingly the present invention provides a paint composition comprising an acidic resin which can be dispersed by treatment with dilute aqueous alkali as binder, a plasticizer, a pigment and an extender or filler dissolved or dispersed in a suitable solvent. The paint compositions according to the present invention may be dispersed by treatment with dilute aqueous alkali.
