Abstract

A reversible plough semi- mountable on a tractor comprises an axle 1 mounted in a support frame 10, an actuating device operable to rotate the axle from one operative position to another (or to a middle-transport-position) and consisting of an hydraulically actuable working cylinder 4 and plunger 18 which articulates with said axle, the cylinder being pivotally attached to the support frame, and further comprises a locking device comprising a catch and a locking member. The locking member comprises a bolt, 2, disposed substantially in the direction of the axle, 1, and the catch member comprises a catch block 5 mounted adjacent to the articulation 3, of the plunger. In the transport position the catch block 5 is situated above the axle 1 and the bolt 2 is locked in the bore 6 of the block 5 and retained there by a spring. The bolt 2 may be withdrawn from 6 by a lever to release the plough axle 1. <IMAGE>
