Abstract
Two eye mirrors 121 and 122 are positioned with a common axis of symmetry 18. Eye mirror 121 has two final stages in parallel 11 and 12 respectively and outputs two beams 131 and 132. Eye mirror 122 has one final stage 13 and outputs a third beam 133. An imaginary cylinder 130 indicates the path of the future movement of a cylindrical target 101. Five sections 91-95 divide that imaginary cylinder into four areas 21 to 24. Beam 133 illuminates all of these areas, beam 132 illuminates areas 23 and 24 and beam 131 illuminates area 24. Each section of the cylindrical target 101 is subject to electromagnetic energy of rising intensity as it moves to the right.
