Abstract

An elliptical exerciser 100 including frame 100; rear wheel 108; hand grip 120; drive wheel 112 in power transfer arrangement with rear wheel; cranks 122; linkages 124; rockers 128; where the drive wheel is located between the rear wheel and hand grip. Linkages may include foot pads 126, and user s feet may follow the rotary motion of the drive wheel. The device may be without a saddle. The rockers may be connected to the frame behind an axle (106) of the rear wheel. The device may include a flywheel and a stand for static use. The device may include a steerable front wheel 118, which may be smaller than the rear wheel. The drive-wheel may be connected to the rear wheel by a chain 114. The device may include a seat. The device may include a further crank (402, Fig. 4A), and may include a pivot to enable folding.
