Abstract

Novelty: folding exercising four-wheeled bicycle (quadracycle) moving with the cyclist body weight and having the form and the size of a suitcase. Constitution: two foot rests receiving alternately or at will the cyclist body weight and reciprocating from the upper to the lower position; With the assistance of the toothed wheel system and the articulated four-side structure the reciprocation is converted into rotary motion causing the free rotation of the rear toothed wheel and the simultaneous tensioning of the spring urging the foot rest to return to the upper position so that the operation cycle can be repeated. The quadracycle in question is connected to another quadracycle so that the front wheels of the rear quadracycle are lifted up, riding is accomplished by the front quadracycle and propulsion is achieved by both, rear and front quadracycle. The quadracycle is placed on a base transmitting the rotary motion of the rear wheels to a shaft bearing an electromotor. The produced energy is stored up in condensers while exercising. Properties: said bicycle utilizes the weight of the cyclist body as a propulsion force and is able to take, in one movement, the shape and size of a suitcase of 35x60x95 cm in dimensions; sufficient internal space enables the transport of things.
