Abstract

A multilobed polyester filament for texturing wherein the filament cross- section deforms less during texturing, sufficient spinning stress to produce an elongation less than 62%, a produced by melt spinning at a crystallite volume of at least 3 x 10<5> cubic angstroms and an average crystalline lateral dimension of at least 50 angstroms.
