Abstract

Clip for clamping together of parallel rope parts to form a rope assembly to be used in manufacturing of fishing devices, oil boom devices and other devices primarily to be used submerged or partly submerged in a body of water. The clip is initially substantially V-shaped, Fig. 1, and has curved transition portions 16, 17 at its ends for locating a number of at least two rope parts individually in position in said clip prior to the clamping together of said clip, Fig. 4, and for clamping and locking said rope parts individually in said clip in its clamped together position. The outer end portions 14a, 15a of the clip are, in the final product, located within the circumference of the clip. <IMAGE>
