Abstract

The sun lamp (1) includes at least one ultraviolet fluorescent strip light, for example three strip lights (3, 3', 3''), of substantially circular form. The strip lights are preferably disposed in a housing (2) from at least one side of which ultraviolet rays can issue towards the person to be treated. A reflector having reflecting portions (4, 4', 4'') behind each light is preferably provided to increase the effective radiation intensity. Such a lamp enables a round radiation field of uniform radiation intensity to be produced. <IMAGE>
