Abstract
In a vehicle suspension arrangement comprising an elongate member 7 which carries a stub axle 8 for supporting a wheel, the elongate member being pivotably supported at each end by support members hingedly secured to the vehicle at points 1, 3, 4, 6, the elongate member and support members are so arranged that during normal linear vehicle motion the elongate member is inclined rearwardly of the vehicle and during cornering the elongate member is inclined further rearwardly of the vehicle or forwardly of the vehicle dependent upon whether the elongate member is on the outside or inside of the turn respectively, to maintain the wheel in a substantially vertical position at all times and maximise the wheel contact area to avoid skidding. <IMAGE>
