Abstract

In a rotatable abrading device having blades mounted on a wheel for throwing particulate material, improved blade mounting means are provided facilitating removal and replacement of blades. Each blade 5 is secured on a blade mounting block 4 by a locking spring 33 which engages in holes 11, 11' in the blade block and in a cavity 17 on the rear of the blade to hold the blade 5 and blade block 4 together with lug 10 on the blade block engaging cavity 16 on the blade to prevent outward movement of the blade so that the spring 33 is substantially unstressed in the installed position. <IMAGE>
