Abstract

In order to facilitate the grinding or replacement of the fittings of the card top bars of a revolving card top and also to facilitate reversal of the direction of rotation or the card top, the structural elements of the card top are secured to a common movable support unit (1). The support unit (1) is movably or detachably mounted on the carding machine, for example the unit may be pivotally mounted at a pivot (5) at one end and fastened at a fastening point at the other end (4). <IMAGE>
