Abstract

A racking device for a program carrier, e.g. a control drum, in a circular knitting machines comprises at least two ratchets and a pawl for driving each ratchet and each pawl can be rendered ineffective according to a given program by means of a bluffing lever according to a given program, each bluffing lever co- operates with elements, e.g. pins, arranged on a side of the associated ratchet. <IMAGE>
