Abstract

200,708. Lowe, O. J. July 19, 1921. Mats.-Links 1 of leather, rubber, felt. metal, composition, &c., are pivoted as shown on a double thickness of wire formed by a single wire 4 passed through one row of holes and the two ends then being passed through from opposite ends of the adjacent row of holes and so on. A mat 5 of coco-nut fibre, hair, wire, &c. may be connected on each side of the open link mat of wire wound round the end wire in and out through the open spaces of the end links as shown in Fig. 2. The wire used is preferably formed of a number of twisted strands.
