Abstract

A projectile has a hollow body 10 in which a fuze 13 is located. To prevent deformation of the fuze casing when the projectile penetrates an armoured target, with consequent risk of failure of the fuze, the fuze is spaced from the inner surface of the body by support means comprising rings 17, 20 fixed to each end of the fuze and joined by means of deformable webs 19, 22 to rings 18, 21 fixed to the projectile body.
