Abstract

A control mechanism comprises first and second lever means (13, 14) which are connected together by connecting means (11) adapted in normal operation to transmit movement from the first lever means (13) to the second lever means (14). In order to enable temporary interruption of the transmission of movement, the connecting means (11) is connected to the first lever means (13) through a pivot (15) moveably supported on the first lever means (13). The pivot (15) can thus be temporarily moved to a position, e.g. on the axis of the first lever means (13), in which movement of the first lever means (13) transmits no movement to the second lever means (14). <IMAGE>
