Abstract
A known transport device for cargo has a transport plate 2 mounted on springs 3 which is displaced periodically against the action of the springs so as to throw the cargo along the transport plate. The invention provides such a transport device in which the displacement of the transport plate is adjustable and in which the frequency of the displacement is also adjustable. In this way it is possible to ensure that the thrown cargo lands on the plate at exactly the time the plate reaches its rest position for different types of cargo. The adjustments are made by adjusting the vibrator 4 which may be a hydraulic motor or may be pneumatic, electric or mechanical. Additionally, the rigidity and initial setting of the springs can also be adjusted. <IMAGE>
