Abstract

A wheeled carrier 10 supports a demountable container 20 and a pump 16 for creating a vacuum within the container whereby liquid may be drawn in through a hose 34 when connected to an inlet 30, and through internal filter means. A valve controlled discharge hose 60 is also connected to the container. The apparatus may be moved into the vicinity of a machine, and operated to suck up cutting liquid from the sump of such a machine into the container, and may subsequently be operated to pump filtered cutting liquid from the or another similar container back to the sump of the or another machine. <IMAGE>
