Abstract

An apparatus is described in which various implements such as plough shares, a cultivator, a ridger, or a lawn rake or brush may be selectively attached at one end of a frame. At the remote end from which the implement is attached there is provided a support member (11) for penetrating the ground, the frame comprising a spring between the member (11) and the implement. An inclined fixed handle (2) and a pivoted handle (13) are connected to the member (11) with the pivoted handle (13) being connected to the implement mounting end of the frame by a strut (15). With the handles spaced their greatest distance apart the member (11) is inserted into the ground and movement of the handles toward one another causes the spring (6) to be compressed and thereby draw the implement toward the member (11). <IMAGE>
