Abstract

A supporting assembly for suspending a sound projection system comprises an upper horizontal frame provided with means 21, 22 for supporting it from a roof. A plurality of horizontal trays 1, 2, 3 and 4 are vertically spaced below the frame by means of elongate spacer members 5. The spacer members 5 are provided between the frame and the first tray 1 and between the trays 1, 2, 3 and 4 and are connected thereto by removable locking members 10, 12 to enable the assembly to be rapidly dismantled. The assembly is erected by lifting the frame above a floor to allow the spacer members 5 for a first stage to be attached thereto. The first tray 1 is then attached to the spacer members 5 to complete the first stage, which is then lifted so that another stage may be added in the same way. <IMAGE>
