Sound magnifying and directing appliances.-A horn a for phonographs, loudspeaking apparatus &c., is provided over the whole of its length with a casing b forming a closed space c containing a waxy substance such as para. ffin, which damps oui resonance effects. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states also that the casing may extend over part only of the length of the horn and may contain a liquid, compressed air or gas, resin &c., or may have a vacuum produced therein. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
