Abstract

200,417. Royston, E. R., (Sheeley, G. TV.). Oct. 5, 1922. Tyre and like inflating valves.-The body of the valve has a 'bore 9 of relatively small diameter, a bore of larger diameter at the outer end, and a spherical enlargement 12 uniting these bores. A hollow plug 4 screws into the outer wide bore and a valve disc 21 seats on its inner end, the opening movement of the disc being limited by the other surface of the spherical enlargement. The face of the valve disc away from the seat is provided with radial grooves.
