Abstract

A tape recorder system comprising a tape recorder unit, a radio tuner unit capable of being coupled to the tape recorder unit and a two pole - 3 way switch SW provided on the tuner unit to connect a power supply source in the form of a battery to the tuner unit and to the tape recorder unit. The switch SW enables the radio tuner to be listened to through the amplifier of the tape recorder unit without having the tape recorder motor running continually, or without the necessity of having the tape recorder pause control in operation, the latter resulting in deformation of the pinch roller due to pressure by the capstan shaft. <IMAGE>
