Abstract

The invention concerns a ceramic dielectric material comprising a basic composition of which 35 to 99 mol % consists of BaTiO3. In one form of the invention, 50 to 99 mol % of the basic composition consists of BaTiO3, the remainder thereof consisting of Ba(Na 1 DIVIDED 4, Ta 3 DIVIDED 4)O3 or Ba(Na1 DIVIDED 4, V3 DIVIDED 4)O3. In another form of the invention, 40 to 85 mol % of the basic composition consists of BaTiO3, the remainder thereof consisting of CaTiO3. The material may be used as a trimmer capacitor of an electronic timepiece.
