Abstract

A pipe coupling comprising interfitting male and female parts joined by non-metallic adhesive material between their mating surfaces. The coupling may be for hydraulic pipes and additionally or alternatively one of the joined members may be provided with reservoirs in the form of grooves 12 for the liquid adhesive. When employed in a hydraulic system the coupling allows pressures in the range 200-3000 p.s.i. to be used. <IMAGE>
