Abstract

A dust edge for fluidic dust extraction comprising a plate (26), for instance of fabric-reinforced rubber, for fastening from the roof (14) or upper wall of a housing such as a combine harvester housing intended to accommodate the dust edge in such a manner that the plate (26) hangs in a substantially vertical plane and extends between opposite side walls (12, 12) of the housing, the plate (26) having fixed to the edge to serve as a dust edge a sealing lip of flexible material, wherein the plate (26) with its sealing lip constitutes a wall component of flexible material, the sealing lip comprising a prestressed spring element (38) extending along the said edge and adapted to act on the opposite side walls (12, 12) of the housing when applied thereto. Preferably the spring element (38) is contained in a loop 34 (see Fig. 3) formed on along the said edge of the plate (26). <IMAGE>
