Abstract

Plug-in fastener for motor vehicle safety belts including a male plug (10) part and a female receiving part (11) the receiving part having a movable spring-biassed locking member (16) engageable with a recess (15) in the plug part to lock the fastener. A spring-biassed ejector member (20) is provided in the receiving part having the dual purpose of engaging the locking member to retain it in its non- locking position and also to eject the plug part. The ejector member retains the locking member in its non-locking position until the plug part on being plugged-in displaces the ejector member. Thus the force required to move the locking member to its non- locking position will not be applied during the locking action. <IMAGE>
