Abstract

A printing unit for the space dyeing of yarns, which includes an upper roller having a smooth continuous surface, a bottom roller carrying printing pads which are projected selectively at the printing position to dye the yarns in accordance with a desired pattern and a resilient doctor blade in contact with the upper roller. <IMAGE>
