Abstract

To convert a liquid fuel dispensing pump with mechanical display to electronic, a seven segment display module (15) for use in a liquid fuel pump body comprises a seven segment display device (16) located in a block or enclosure (18, 19) and connected to a cable (20) fixed thereto and extending therefrom. The enclosure (18, 19) having a transparent face comprises two half shells, and together with the cable (20) is inert to petrol vapour and sealed to prevent spark escape therefrom. The invention also embraces a liquid fuel dispensing pump having such a module and a kit of conversion equipment for installing such a module in a liquid fuel dispensing pump. <IMAGE>
