Abstract

An insulator assembly for securement to an aerial boom 12 has a base 16 having an integral open-ended hollow part 30 for surrounding the aerial boom 12, there being means for securing a dipole 14 to the base, a cover 46 for the base and a cable entry thereinto, the hollow part 30 preferably being secured to the boom by a locking member 62 slidable into and locking with the said hollow part. <IMAGE>
