Abstract

Comprises a sea-going vessel having a saucer shaped hull, a gravitationally balanced ring beam (11) mounted within the vessel, and hydraulic transducers (9, 14) mounted between the ring beam and the structure of the vessel to respond to rocking movements of the vessel relative to the ring beam due to wave impact from any direction. <IMAGE>
