Lids; handles; bottoms.-A cooking tin, having a layer of asbestos intervening between the bottom and an additional lower bottom, is provided with a sliding lid 11 formed with curledover edges adapted to engage over the beaded and wined side edges of the tin, and provided with a hit and miss ventilator. A detachable sheet metal handle 17 having a hooked end adapted to engage a co-operating hooked part on a carrier plate 18 attached to the side of the tin is provided.
