Abstract

198,272. Montville, M. C., and Keramidas, N. D. Aug. 14, 1922. Foot-rests for use in boot - polishing. The foot-supporting member has a pivotal connection with the base, and is yieldingly maintained in engagement with means which hold it upright. Fig. 1 shows the foot-rest in upright position, and Fig. 4 is a plan of the foot-rest in lowered or horizontal position. By rushing upon the lug 15, the foot-supporting member 10, 11 is moved, against the action of the spring 18, out of engagement with the recesses 8, and may then be folded down.
