Eye-appliances; syringes. -Eye - washing apparatus comprises a compressible rubber bulb 1 closed by a stopper 2 carrying a tube 9 extending nearly to the base of the bulb. The upper part of the stopper 2 has screwed to it a rose 7 a chamfered lower edge on which bears against, and retains in position, a cup 6 resting on the stopper. A rubber packing ring 5 for the cup 6 and a retaining ring 3 for the stopper 2 are provided.
