Curtain rods; stair rods. - A stair or curtain rod comprises a rod or tube B of steel inserted in a tube A of material which may be polished and does not tarnish such as Erinoid, Celastoid and Galalith. The steel rod or tube B need not extend the full length of the tube A, plugs D of the same material a.s this tube being inserted in its ends; or the rod or tube B may extend beyond the tube A and be screw-threaded to receive terminal caps of the same material as the outer tube.
