Casting-apparatus; moulds; cooling moulds. - The Specification in the original form, as open to inspection under Sect. 91, (3) (a) stated that the metal-casting machine described was applicable for casting other materials. This statement does not appear in the Specification as accepted. The casting-machines are of the type in which a series of moulds are carried by a rotatable member, as described in Specification 186,906, and they are provided with means for supplying cooling fluid to the moulds and the guides upon which the mould sections slide.. A fixed elbow H<2> supplies fluid, preferably compressed air, to a tube H ported at H<3>. A valve G rotatable with the mould turret B is provided with ports G' communicating with pipes having flexible connections J<3> J<4> to the hollow mould sections which are provided with exhaust ports E<3>, F<3>. The port H<3> is such that the fluid supply is cut off from the mould that is at the pouring station. Passages G<8> connect the air supply to the hollow guide rods D.
