Abstract
196,040. Pritchard, P. Jan. 10, 1922. Moulding-machines.-An adjustable member is interposed between the table of a jar-ram moulding-machine and the jarring plunger or a fixed abutment in order to vary the drop of the table. The table 1 is adapted to be turned over for drawing and carries a cam ring 2 which can be turned by handle 4 and gears 7, 8 to bring one of its steps a, b, c, d, Fig. 5, over a plunger 9 reciprocated by a cam 11. An antrifriction roller 12 is carried by the plunger or by a lever pivoted to the frame to relieve the plunger from side thrust.
