Abstract

193,944. Spencer, C. H. Nov. 29, 1921. Skid; transmitting-mechanism.-Mechanism for applying vehicle track brakes comprises a member B slidable horizontally against a roller R disposed between it and a fixed member A and having an inclined surface B<4> between which and an inclined surface C<1> on a vertically movable member C a second roller R<1> is disposed. The brake block D carried by the member C is then depressed to engage the track when the member B is actuated by the pull-rod B<3>. According to the Provisional Specification the mechanism may be used for other types of brake.
