Bodies.- Tea-pots, coffee-pots, jugs or other articles with relatively narrow necks are formed with fluted or embossed bodies by first pressing or spinning, a metal sheet to a cup shape, Fig. 2, fluting the lower part of the cup by successive operations in press-tools, and finally spinning in the upper part of the wall b to produce the form of neck e, Fig. 3, required. If the vessel is to be provided with a foot or base, this is formed during the pressing or spinning of the cup-shaped vessel from the metal sheet.
