Abstract

193,240. Morison, W. J. Jan. 20, 1922. Radiators, motor-car and like. - Upper and lower headers or chambers connected by water tubes E are divided by partitions into compartments A, B, D, C to provide a circuitous path for the water from the inlet F to the outlet G. An overflow pipe K passes through one of the water tubes and serves to admit air to the interior to assist the cooling action. The partitions are provided with vent holes to avoid air locks, and cleaning plugs H are fitted to the bottom chamber.
